My rate for therapy is $200 per 55-minute session.
Yes! I accept Aetna insurance, provided you are in Washington State at the time of service.
I am an out of network provider for all other insurance companies. I can provide a monthly invoice, or "superbill", that you can submit to your insurance company. I recommend checking to see what your out of network benefits are before booking your first appointment.
You may want to ask your insurance provider about the following CPT codes:
90791 - Integrated biopsychosocial assessment (used for the first session)
90834 - Individual psychotherapy (used for sessions with the child or adult client alone)
90847 - Family psychotherapy with patient present (used for sessions with parents and child)
90846 - Family psychotherapy without patient present (used for parent-only sessions)
I offer reduced fee therapy through Open Path Psychotherapy Collective. Individual sessions through Open Path are $50-$70. Please check my Open Path profile to see if I am currently accepting new reduced-fee clients.
After the initial consultation, we will agree a day and time for your appointment each week (or every other week). That time will be set aside for you and no one else. I request that you tell me the day before if you need to cancel for any reason. You are also welcome to see if I have another time available, either by email, phone, or talking to me in session. Existing clients can make one-time changes to their appointments using the secure client portal.
I am typically availabile for therapy appointments from 11am to 6:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. My latest appointment is 5:30pm.
Yes! Telehealth will continue to be offered to people who are not in Seattle or who would prefer not to travel to the office for any reason. Telehealth is also a great option for days when you are feeling well enough for therapy but not well enough to come in.
Maybe. I am licensed to work with clients who are located in Washington State at the time of service. I am also licensed to work with clients who are located in participating PsyPact states as long as I am in Washington at the time of service. Here is a list of current PsyPact states: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap. However, I cannot bill insurance if you are outside Washington State at the time of service. Please let me know ahead of time if you will not be in Washington during your session.
I am not able to prescribe medications. However, I am happy to refer you to a medication provider if that's an option you wish to explore. I am also available to talk with your medication provider to support your treatment.
